One of the things that I enjoy most about the design process is creating with my "Little." It never fails, I take out a paper punch, a brush or tablecloths and she's right there asking who's party it is and where. Sometimes she is helpful and other times, not so much.
Today we were painting. It was a warm afternoon and she was helping me with the kid craft for an upcoming party. Painting pasta turned out to be a lot more enjoyable than I had expected. Watching her gently hold the pasta while painting warmed my heart and I thought to myself, "this is the heart of Gilded Feather." We create and design with love by my hands and hers.
