Lorelei's First Mermaid Party

While we've been a little behind in getting posts out, we had to make sure that we didn't miss this one. The details on this vintage first mermaid party had our fins flipping with excitement. We were honored to design the party for this sweet little mermaid.
The event took place at the My Gym in Torrance, CA. This newly renovated facility provides perfect entertainment for the littles and a relaxing environment for the older guests to mingle.
The birthday girl's momma is a beautiful vintage inspired momma and she knew exactly how she wanted this party to look. We were even able to incorporate many of her vintage dishes as serving bowls and plates on our dessert table. I love being able to use our clients personal items when decorating, it really adds that personal touch.

We used glitter on the mermaid tails to add that whimsical sparkle and calligraphy on the envelopes by the extremely talented ItsMadeByAdrienne.

Lorelei's momma had some great design elements that she wanted incorporated in the party. So we went straight to work to design the perfect time capsule cards for Lorelei to open on her 13th birthday.

The beautiful ombre smash cake and cupcakes were provided by Chenin Kai. Custom mermaid cookies that matched the invitations were provided by our trusted and favorite Kelley Hart Custom Cookies.

We are so incredibly honored that we were able to be a part of this milestone for sweet Lorelei and her parents. A first birthday is such a magical event to celebrate! We can't wait to see what adventures Lorelei swims into as she gets older.

Elena of Avalor Party

I don't know about your daughter, but mine is obsessed with Disney's newest Princess. Princess Elena of Avalor is Disney's first Latina Princess and she has all of the spirit that you would expect from a Disney Princess.
So, with the sweltering summer days in full swing, we decided to throw a Princess Elena party.

Picture
Disney has already created a ton of fun party items for this Princess. We downloaded and printed this gorgeous watercolor portrait of Elena. Check out the website for more free party downloads. http://lol.disney.com/characters/elena-of-avalor
The rest of our decor was sparkle and festive elements. Gold fans and colored lanterns added some fun details and the tablecloth (one of my personal favorites) is from our wonderful friends at Flippin Stitch.

Tamales and these tasty vanilla cupcakes with coconut frosting were the perfect for our little fiesta.

Our guests enjoyed playing with these beautiful ribbon strings and like Elena they wore flowers in their hair.

It's A First Fiesta!!!!

Picture
We were honored to coordinate this First Fiesta for an out of state client. The parents and guest of honor were flying in the day before the party so every detail was coordinated well in advance. Except for the rain. We weren't expecting rain for a park party with guests who were traveling from all over Southern California to celebrate this milestone. Alas, bringing tissue flowers, pinatas and catered food in between cloud bursts was a rather exciting experience.

A huge thank you to our vendor partners for making all of the details really shine:
  •  Fiesta Like There's No Mañana shirt by Beach Town Baby
  • The gorgeous flower backdrop by our partner Fearless Designs.
  • These custom invitations by Then Comes Paper
  • Gorgeous photo booth linen by Flippin Stitch
  • Beach Mex for the amazing catering

We had so much fun with this party. Pinwheels were every where. Perfect for a beautiful spring afternoon. Our dessert table was filled with sprinkle cookies, sea salt caramel brownie parfaits, vanilla cupcakes and delicious kettle corn. Thank you to Mella Bella Sweet Treats for filling this table for us.

Guests played games and sipped on champagne cocktails and lemonade. What a relaxing afternoon celebrating the upcoming arrival of Baby Jack.

We are so thankful to be a part of this special day! We can't wait to meet him!

JoJo's Bow-tique

Welcome to JoJo's Bow-tique! We celebrated this kind and generous little girl's 4th birthday on Sunday.
Miss JoJo is a huge fan of Minnie Mouse and she requested that Gilded Feather Events style her party with pink, purple and blue. So off we went with our marching orders to create a party as sweet as she is.
Guests were welcomed at the front door with a Minnie banner and then went downstairs to where the party was jumping.

First stop, JoJo's Bowtique to choose a pair of ears to wear for the day.
It was so fun watching them decide which pair to wear. Luckily, the Bowtique was at kid level so they were able to visit as often as they wanted and were able to make as many "returns" for new merchandise.

There's so many beautiful things, how will I ever decide? - JoJo

The fun didn't stop at the Bowtique. A Mickey Mouse Clubhouse bounce house awaited them outside on the lawn. Balloons floated around the yard and the playroom. Screams of fun and excitement filled the air.

How is one supposed to keep their mommy sanity when spring break is 11 days long?!?!
Solution, host a "Break from Spring Break Easter Egg Hunt." The "Little's" sipped on raspberry lemonade while the mommy's sipped (gulped down) on Rose Champagne. Hey, we're only six days into spring break and it's going to take a lot of "support."

Thanks for today!! We had a great time😘loved all the details👍🏼 - AK

T-Shirt Decorating Party

3/14/2016

When your niece calls you and asks if you'd be able to organize a STUCO t-shirt decorating party, you don't hesitate
in responding "yes." And so this weekend, 16 teenagers arrived for lunch and to express their creative side.
Guests munched on popcorn, fruit salad, chocolate chip cookies, chips and mini sandwiches. Drank lemonade out of mini mason jars and played baseball and basketball while they waited for their t-shirts to dry.
I love art parties and my little one was certainly excited to see all of the paints and brushes and t-shirts on display for the party. I can't wait to throw a kid version of this party!

Beachin' Bridal Shower

When you have a bride as lovely and generous as Renee, you have to pull "out all of the stops" to ensure that her bridal shower is a show stopper.
We styled a beachy bridal shower to get everyone in the mood for her destination wedding in May.

As a nod to her "Paint My Wedding Pink" bridal party, we used pink, aqua and a touch of gold for sparkle. Mason jars served raspberry lemonade and pink champagne punch helped to keep the guests well hydrated and happy during the festivities.
